Free Measuring

Free Measuring is included within Plumbs Curtain Service. Plumbs staff have years of experience. You can be almost sure of a perfect fit as we very rarely get alterations.

Measuring is often a cause for concern. Many people are worried about making a mistake. The fear is that the curtains won't fit - too long, too short or won't meet in the middle. These are some of the steps we take to ensure measures are correct. They are little things that make a big difference.

We hang a MINI CURTAIN when measuring curtain drops. This simulates a curtain being in position. it allows us to confirm with you the customer that the heading height is exactly as you wish.

We use a good quality steel rule and measure from the floor/sill upwards.

We take 3 measures, one either side and one in the middle. This will confirm if the window or track is level.

We check if you are awaiting carpet fitters. If so, an allowance is made or the curtains will be too long.
